Pump It Up

Today Morrison's Daycare had their Christmas Party at Pump it Up in Burnsville. Pump it Up is an indoor inflatable jumping, sliding and play area. Tony and I raced through the obstacle course and I lost:( but we did take Morrison down the big slide! We can not wait for next year when he is big enough to run around with all the other kids!

First Day at Deb's Daycare

Well we made it through the first day at daycare! Tony and I dropped Morrison off at 6:30am and to my surprise he gave Deb a huge smile! At that point, I knew everything was going to be ok! I left not shedding a tear which I am not sure was good or bad?? Then around 9am I got this email with a cute picture and note from Morrison which made me tear up!

My first day at daycare. Things are going GREAT. This is Hope,one of my newfriends. She wants to help and she doesn't let anyone get to close to me.

All of the kids where excited to have a new baby and wanted to make sure he was coming back! Deb said he was a great little boy! We have spent the evening really enjoying our time with Morrison and looking forward to may more wonderful days!

My little MoJo surprised me this morning (see video)! We have been trying to get him to jump for a week! Man he is just making it that much hard to go to work tomorrow!

Cities 97 Sample Release

This morning I stood in line with 2 friends (Lesley and Heidi) at 5:45am to make sure I got my copy of this years City 97 Sampler CD! We went to the Shakopee Target where they had less then 200 copies but we where about 60th in line! It was a bit cold but the time went by really fast! I am really excited to pop it in my CD player and listen all day!

So, our little guy is growing up! Last week he started to roll over from his tummy to back! Check him out as we are so proud!

Week 12

Where did the time go? Tomorrow is the start if my last week of maternity leave:( I will be back to work on Tuesday the 25th! Yes, I only have to work 2 days but still its going to be so hard! As I look back on the past 11 weeks wow has my (our) life changed in so many ways! There have been ups and downs but let me tell you being a mom has been the greatest gift in the world! I know Tony would also say being a dad is great too! I am really going to miss spending just about every minute with my little man! I know that he will do great at daycare and it will be good for both of us! I guess it's just one of the many things a new mommy does not want to face! I will be enjoying every minute of my last week home before its back to reality!

2 Month Check Up

Morrison had his 2 month check up today! He was a GREAT boy and just cried for a few minutes! He only had to get 2 shots, 1 in each leg as they came out with a new grouping last month! I do not think I could handle more then that!

He is now weighing in at 9.14lbs and 21 inches! Yes, just a little guy in the 25% for his weight but we are enjoying it! I am not sure what these parents do when they have 9+ lbs babies - its just not right!

Best Buddies

Last night Morrison went to bed at 9:30pm and slept till 6:00am!!! As we had some quite time to ourselves the dogs curl up with each other for a bit. I think in the 3 years the dogs have been together I have never seen them cuddle so close! Must be the lack of attention they get from us:(

Apple Orchard

Last week we went to the Apple Orchard with my mom and sister. It was so nice out I am starting to love fall more and more! Now, I need to make an apple crisp for Tony and maybe I will try making a pie!

Yes, he is getting bigger

Wow, time does fly! It feels like yesterday I was still laying in my moms pool saying "I really do not want to go to work tomorrow! I hope I go into labor!".
Now, we are enjoying Morrison Joe and I have proof that he is getting bigger! We are not sure what he weighs, if we have to guess he is a bit over 9lbs.
Before I know it we will be heading off to daycare/work but I am not going to let the next 5 weeks go by any faster then they need to!

We made it!

Well, we are back from a great weekend hanging with our friends! We headed out just before noon on Thursday and Morrison slept all the way to Garrison!Thank goodness for McDonald's (Morrison and Mommy needed to eat) otherwise it would have been his first trip to the Blue Goose! He was a great little boy all weekend and we are so lucky to have great Friends that did not mind a 5:00am wake up call as MoJo was hungry!

Gone for the weekend

We are heading out for a long weekend with the little guy and friends! We are heading north to Milacs and hoping we will not get rained out! (We will be in a cabin at least!) Keep your fingers crossed that we make it there without having to stop to many times! Morrison is just starting to like the car seat and car rides! I have packed a couple movies for myself to watch as I am sure I will be riding in back!

Oh - and that colic thing....well we have had 2 great days and he slept through the night last night! We are really hoping all that crying is done and he continues to sleep all night!

Its 8:20am on Tuesday morning and where can my little Morrison be found?? Oh Where Oh Where can he be?

I think our little guy has a touch of the colic so once I can get him back to sleep I DO NOT DISTURB! For some reason the 1 thing that calms him is lying on his changing station! I'm keeping my fingers crossed this is a phase and this all out screaming for no reason end soon! I just keep telling myself look how cute he is when he is a happy boy!

1 month

WOW, we can not believe its been a month already! Our little Morrison was 1 month yesterday and he is finally getting a bit bigger! We have almost graduated out of the preemie diapers and into Newborn!!! He is a great baby but already knows how to give Mom a run for her money!

Morrison's First Trip to the Farm

Morrison took his first trip to the Marschall Farm (brother Justin's girlfriend Tanya's family) last week! He was so excited he slept right through it all! There was a cow born the same day as Morrison so we took some pictures with him. We also met Tucker which is Tanya's nephew.
